Merry Xmas!

Australia celebrates "Xmas in July". I'm jealous, so last Saturday we celebrated "Xmas in June". There was Christmas food, decorations, carols, presents and booze (which we really didn't need to blame on Christmas). My cousin and her family had luckily put a huge tent in their garden as it was pouring down. It did give me some sort of Christmas feeling though.

People got drunk and drunker, and as per usual I was the last girl standing. I gave in around 9.30AM and after a couple of hours on a tiny couch I came to the conclusion that it was so far the best Christmas in 2007.

Too much of a good thing

It's been quiet here lately. It could mean two things. Either me having too much fun to have time to write, or having nothing to write because of no fun. I'm sorry to say that I'm having too much fun :)

Norwegian summer is so far good. We've had a lot of really nice summer days and nothing is better than Scandinavia in the summertime. Late bbq's, early beers, lots of old friends and new friends. There's only so much summer in a year so we really have to enjoy it when it's here.

Well, I'm staying with my parents. I feel like I'm back to being 18 again, where I'm old enough to do whatever I want but that I still feel obligated to tell them where I am, what I'm doing and who I'm with. It's always a struggle coming back to them when I've been living by myself for the last 6-7 years. But still, it's good to be spoilt rotten with dinner prepared, clothes washed and some pocket money once in a while ;)
